Private Property

Private Property

The right to own and improve upon property is a fundamental freedom and integral to our American way of life . When it is taken away our society will collapse and yet there are those among us  who believe that the existence of too much freedom is harmful to their dreams of a socialist utopia .  At the top of the list of things to eliminate for these individuals is private property.
Unfortunately , these people don’t just exist on the fringes of society.  They now sit in places of power within our government . They also infest academia from your kid’s kindergarten teacher right up to the halls of our most esteemed centers of supposed higher learning.
If individuals of common sense aren’t  continually vigilant and proactive, the day may come when the family farm no longer exists to hand down to your children.
The Private Property page is dedicated to pointing out the attempted or successful confiscation of private property rights and also overly burdensome regulation

EPA Wants It All By Michael S. Coffman, Ph.D.

As described in the Summer 2014 story in RANGE, “The
United EPA of America,” the Environmental Protection
Agency is attempting to expand its jurisdiction from “navigable
waters of the U.S.” as defined in the Clean Water Act to every

has been increasing opposition to the expansion of jurisdiction because
it would extend EPA authority over almost every acre and citizen

  ‘We Were Busy Then’

The decline of The United States of America is no longer in its infancy. Barack Obama calls it the “fundamental transformation,” but by whatever term you may prefer for the post hope and change lie, it is now a reality. Yes, it crept on us… but we were busy.

Agenda 21

Since the 90’s, the United Nations’ Agenda 21 has been implemented nation wide at the federal, state and local levels, with very few people even being aware of it.  It is dangerous because it destroys the most important civil liberty we have—private property rights. . . . . . . .

The Adair Case

One of the most devastating government “takings” in the history of the U.S. is in progress in Klamath County, Oregon.  This movement to get farmers and ranchers off their privately owned lands has been brewing for many years but came to a head after a sequence of events this spring and summer shut off long-time water rights and deprived landowners of their ability to irrigate or water their livestock. . . . . . . .
